In The Begining...

Okay, so I am not sure if this is going to work or not, but I think that the only way to find out is to give it a go, so here goes...

One of the things that I most enjoy in life is writing. If people like what I have written, then so much the better. I have tried writing blogs before, but they never seem to work. I guess that I’m just not very interesting.

But one thing that I have written, and loved, was a short story called Stella & Jem. I had great fun writing it, and a few people have told me that they really like it. I think that there is a problem with it though. I always want to know what happens to Stella and Jem when the story is over.

So that is what this blog is about. Over the coming weeks, months, perhaps years, I aim to tell the story of Jem. I want to tell you what happens to him next, where he goes with his life, and what becomes of all his friends.

If I fuck this up, and it fails, then it is going to fail spectacularly. But if, as I hope, I can make it work, and keep it interesting, then I think that I may just be  on to a winner....
